On Thursday, 1 October 2015, <\/strong>the traditional welcome event for freshmen of the University of Ljubljana will take place at Kongresni trg in Ljubljana<\/strong>. The event will start at 16:00. You can expect a lively programme with music, fun and sports activities until 20:00. Stalls will be set up representing 23 faculties and three academies where freshmen will receive information about study programmes and extracurricular activities.<\/p>\n

The official part of the event with the formal opening of the new study year will start at 17:00.<\/strong> The rector of the University of Ljubljana prof. dr. Ivan Svetlik, the president of the Student Council Miha Rajh and the mayor of Ljubljana Zoran Jankovi\u0107 will greet new students. Representatives from the management of all 23 faculties and three academies will also be present at the event.<\/p>\n
