Project Description<\/span><\/u><\/p>\n<\/td>\n

\n

Bruton’s Tyrosine Kinase (BTK) is an emerging drug target implicated in leukemia, lymphoma and other malignancies. The aim of our project is to develop a method for placing a molecular “handle” on BTK, which would allow us to tag the enzyme while it remains functional within living cells. Our strategy can be theoretically applicable in many kinases, a large enzyme family involved in numerous cell functions, therefore the labelling of BTK can serve as an initial showcase.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Addressing the implications that growing right-wing populism has for democratic development in the Eastern European region, this presentation will offer some insights on new forms of transnational mobilization and resistance to gender equality and LGBTI rights within specific regional and national settings (Ukraine and Georgia).<\/span><\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
