I’m so glad I chose Slovenia for my Erasmus exchange. The nature is wonderful – from mountains to the coast, the people are kind and Ljubljana is full of adventures. The Erasmus students in Ljubljana are well supported by the ESN and it’s easy to find people to connect to. There’s always a chance to go on a trip or hike here or discover neighbouring countries. Studying geology in Ljubljana is great, it really is quite special and interesting here. I’ll be forever grateful for this experience!<\/p>\n
Brief description of your impressions: I chose Slovenia for my Erasmus because I had never been there before and knew very little about the country. I fell in love with the country during my time here and can recommend it to anyone. The people here made a very happy and cheerful impression on me and no matter in which direction you go, there are great things to experience everywhere, as Slovenia and especially Ljubljana is super centrally located. I was particularly impressed by the proximity to the Alps and the unique view of the mountains. “I choose Slovenia as my Erasmus destination because I wanted to explore a country I have never been before. I love the combination of different countryside\u2019s squeezed in into one country – you have the sea, the mountains, forests and fields. The field trips with the university to the karst regions were amazing (see photo attached)! I learned a lot and was really impressed of the caves and the formation of rocks. I also found a second home at the dancing school Cubana Ljubljana where I continued dancing Salsa Cubana. For all dancing lovers: you need to go there for classes and parties!”<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0 \u201c<\/em>The whole experience was amazing, I recommend Ljubljana and NTF to anyone who wants to go on an exchange, it is such a friendly place for students! About studying at NTF I would say that I was surprised about the effort professors made to teach us in English, widen our knowledge and care that we have comfort and a good time during the stay. The library offers a wide range of books about almost everything connected to fashion, textiles, art and graphic design, and is very comfortable and nice place to study. The faculty has really good equipment and offers a great practice, so maybe in the future it is good to have even more practical lectures for Erasmus students. The stay here helped me expand my knowledge, my understanding of the field I study, my English vocabulary for technical and textile terms. I learned a lot and got a good direction about my future development, made friends with many international students and improved my level of confidence. All in all, there are not words to describe how wonderful the experience was and how thankful to the faculty I am for that!\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n “I recommend 100% to go on Erasmus+ to Ljubljana. I decided to have this experience to get to know people of other countries and the Slovenian culture. Ljubljana is a beautiful city to have walks and meet other Erasmus+ students. The school is really good. They have a lot of different machines, that were really useful, specially prints. The classes are mostly practical, and they have at least one more professor to help the classmates.
