{"id":4680,"date":"2015-05-08T13:00:53","date_gmt":"2015-05-08T13:00:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.ntf.uni-lj.si\/omm\/?page_id=4680"},"modified":"2022-09-30T12:25:07","modified_gmt":"2022-09-30T10:25:07","slug":"tutoring","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.ntf.uni-lj.si\/omm\/en\/study\/tutoring\/","title":{"rendered":"Tutoring"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Tutoring is systematic guidance to students in their studies and in their academic development.<br \/>\nThe purpose of tutoring at FNSE is to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>support students during their studies,<\/li>\n<li>increase the transfer of students to the next year,<\/li>\n<li>advise students in the selection of optional courses,<\/li>\n<li>assist in the study of individual courses or the mandatory practice<\/li>\n<li>encourage students to participate in extracurricular activities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Student tutoring for foreign students helps foreign students to overcome possible cultural differences and adapt to the new environment. The priorities of foreign students are primarily: residence, student ID, transport. Possible cultural differences (language, habits, personal attitudes) might well influence the study performance of a foreign student. Tutors help them with everyday life challenges, to integrate into our environment, to overcome homesickness and with various administrative procedures.<\/p>\n<p>Student tutoring:<br \/>\ncoordintor of teacher tutors: assist. prof. dr.
