The Faculty of Natural Sciences and Engineering from the University of Ljubljana has represented together with other design faculties, academies, young textile companies and brands within New & Next<\/strong><\/a> area at the fair Heimtextil<\/strong><\/a> that was held in Frankfurt from 8th \u2013 11th January 2019<\/strong>. The works of all participating students were directly presented on the international textile market and available for sale for the very first time. The collections of patterns were made in techniques as jacquard weaving<\/strong>, machine knitting<\/strong>, digital printing<\/strong>, silk screen printing<\/strong>, printing on paper<\/strong>, hand made textures<\/strong> and mixed media textures<\/strong> that offered unique concepts of students’ works.<\/p>\n

The 2nd and 3rd year students as well as the master’s students Nina Glavi\u010d<\/strong>, Lovro Ivan\u010di\u0107<\/strong>, Tina Gorki\u010d<\/strong>, Katja Bren\u010di\u010d<\/strong> and Vita Rau<\/strong> participated at the fair. The students’s works were guided under the mentorship of prof. Marija Jenko<\/strong>, assist. prof. Katja Burger Kovi\u010d<\/strong>, assist. Jana Mr\u0161nik<\/strong>, assist. Arijana Gad\u017eijev<\/strong> with assist. prof Tanja Nu\u0161a Ko\u010devar<\/strong> and tech. assist.
