{"id":16320,"date":"2020-10-19T11:02:35","date_gmt":"2020-10-19T09:02:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.ntf.uni-lj.si\/oto\/?post_type=event&#038;p=16320"},"modified":"2020-10-22T17:08:41","modified_gmt":"2020-10-22T15:08:41","slug":"ljfw-ntf-24-2","status":"publish","type":"event","link":"https:\/\/www.ntf.uni-lj.si\/oto\/en\/event\/ljfw-ntf-24-2\/","title":{"rendered":"LJFW NTF 2\/4"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>On the 6th October 2020 collections of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ntf.uni-lj.si\/ntf\/en\/about-faculty\/departments\/department-of-textiles-graphic-arts-and-design\/\">NTF \u2013 Department of Textiles, Graphic Arts and Design<\/a>\u00a0students were showcased at Podhod Ajdov\u0161\u010dina Ljubljana within the framework of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ljfw.org\/events\/ntf-2-4\/\">LJFW 2\/4<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>GARNIR 2, HANA PODVR\u0160I\u010c, ANITA MIKLAV\u010cI\u010c,\u00a0ESTERA LOVREC\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Garnir 2<\/strong>\u00a0has created a collection <strong>\u2018We like to stay at home\u2019<\/strong> which represents a mix of elements that reflect the essence of home. Warmth, vase, teddy bear, blanket, button, smile and many others that share the same message: we like to stay at home.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hana Podvr\u0161i\u010d<\/strong>\u00a0and her collection <strong>\u2018Phenomena\u2019<\/strong> reflects on the future of our planet. She drew the inspiration from a pessimistic post-apocalyptic state of Earth, as she wants to emphasize the uniqueness of our planet, nature and human relations, which unfortunately will not be appreciated until a phenomena would happen that would change our mindset completely.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<br \/>\n<strong>Anita Miklav\u010di\u010d<\/strong> puts her childhood as a main inspiration for her womenswear sustainable collection, titled <strong>\u2018When I grow up\u2019<\/strong>. She made a research of silhouettes, colours, stylistic elements and details of the clothes she used to wear as a child, interpreting and upgrading the elements in her own unique style. The collection is entirely made out of second hand and waste materials from Slovenian textile manufactures.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Estera Lovrec<\/strong>\u00a0is through her collection <strong>\u2018Rex-pecting the roots\u2019<\/strong> sharing the concern about people not expressing feelings with pride, as she is wondering when will feelings become something positive \u2013 a positive trend.
