On the 8th October 2020 collections of\u00a0NTF \u2013 Department of Textiles, Graphic Arts and Design<\/a>\u00a0students were showcased at Podhod Ajdov\u0161\u010dina Ljubljana within the framework of\u00a0LJFW 3\/4<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

Pia Ho\u010devar Muci\u0107<\/strong>\u00a0has created a gender-neutral fashion collection \u2018Save the Bugs\u2019<\/strong>, inspired by the identity of men\u2019s clothing. The collection questions men\u2019s gender expressions and suggests different possibilities for men\u2019s fashion. Her work also reflects as an activist campaign that focuses on a serious ecological issue \u2013 insect extinction.<\/p>\n

 
\nEva Je\u017e<\/strong>\u00a0has found inspiration for her bachelor\u2019s thesis titled \u2018Kaleidoscope\u2019<\/strong> in optical illusions, using kaleidoscope and its symmetric shapes as a starting point for her collection. She made a research of contemporary fashion and fusion between different styles, as well as of technology that creates patterns. The end result is a modern women\u2019s collection, representing the simplicity and complexity of the kaleidoscope.<\/p>\n

 
\nAlenka More<\/strong>\u00a0with her master thesis \u2018Perfect bodies\u2019<\/strong> suggests a critical insight into body diversity, the culture of clothing, utopian perfection and designing clothes. The image of the body plays a significant role in today\u2019s society, as media and media personalities solidly spread the idea of socially acceptable beauty. Most clothes are not made to consider different body specifics, which is why customized clothing gains more and more added value.<\/p>\n
