{"id":13087,"date":"2018-12-04T15:11:04","date_gmt":"2018-12-04T14:11:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.ntf.uni-lj.si\/oto\/?post_type=news&#038;p=13087"},"modified":"2018-12-06T10:11:15","modified_gmt":"2018-12-06T09:11:15","slug":"13087","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/www.ntf.uni-lj.si\/oto\/en\/news\/13087\/","title":{"rendered":"DEJAN PETROVI\u0106 IS THE WINNER OF EFTDC"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Dejan Petrovi\u0107<\/strong>, who is a student on the masters degree at the department of textile and fashion design has won the 1st place at <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/serbiafashionweek.com\/2018\/02\/12\/otvorene-prijave-za-ftdc-2018\/\">European Fashion Talent Design Competition \u2013 EFTDC<\/a><\/strong> which is held during <a href=\"http:\/\/serbiafashionweek.com\/\"><strong>Serbia Fashion Week<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>EFTDC is an anual competition held at the <strong>Master Centar Novosadskog Sajma<\/strong> in two categories, which are the <strong>Fashion Talent Design Competition \u2013 FTDC<\/strong>, open for young serbian designers and the european category <strong>European fashion Talent Design Competition \u2013 EFTDC<\/strong> which is an open competition for all young european designers.<br \/>\n<strong>In the first round<\/strong>, which was held in april <strong>10 designers from serbia and 10 european designers<\/strong> presented their work to the jury of the contests. <strong>The jury<\/strong> was:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 <strong>Mr. Donald Potard<\/strong> \u2013 biv\u0161i direktor modne hi\u0161e Jean-Paul Gaultier<br \/>\n\u2022 <strong>Eymeric Francois<\/strong> \u2013 francoski modni oblikovalec<br \/>\n\u2022 <strong>Svetlana Horvat<\/strong> \u2013 predsednica Serbia Fashion Week-a in Nacionalne komore za modu Srbije<br \/>\n\u2022 <strong>Branko Popovi\u0107<\/strong> \u2013 FASHIONCLASH, Nizozemska<br \/>\n\u2022 <strong>Vasilije Kova\u010dev<\/strong> \u2013 modni oblikovalec<br \/>\n\u2022 <strong>William Arlotti<\/strong> \u2013 Le Fashion Post, Fracija<br \/>\n\u2022 <strong>Myra Postolache<\/strong> \u2013 The Secret Code of Fashion, Italija<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>After the first round <strong>6 finalists<\/strong> from both categories got a chance to present their collections during the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/serbiafashionweek\/posts\/1879837212132155?__tn__=-R\">fall edition of the Serbia Fashion Week<\/a><\/strong> in <strong>the E\u0111\u0161eg pallace in Novi Sad<\/strong>.<br \/>\nThere Dejan won the 1st place for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/serbiafashionweek\/posts\/1879824228800120?__tn__=-R\"><strong>European Fashion Talent Design Competition \u2013 EFTDC<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The award for the 1st place was:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Cash prize<\/strong> of 500\u20ac<\/li>\n<li>Free <strong>collection presentation<\/strong> on the spring edition during Serbia Fashion Week 2019<\/li>\n<li>Free <strong>collection presentation<\/strong> on the fall edition during serbia Fashion week 2019<\/li>\n<li>Free <strong>photo editorial<\/strong> during the fall edition of Serbia Fashion week<\/li>\n<li><strong>Exhibition of illustrations<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>1st place plaque<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The wining collection titled <strong>#buysexual<\/strong> was made under the menthorshop of prof. Almira Sadar, tech.assist. Nata\u0161a Hrupi\u010d, tech. assist. Alenka More. The collection was inspired by the novel The <strong>Picture of Dorian Gray<\/strong> written by <strong>Oscar Wilde<\/strong>. The story is about a beatiful young man, who lives a hedonistic lifestyle hidden behind his beauty. The collection was also inspired by an online phenomenom of young models who sell their nude photographs online, so they can live the <strong>glamurous Instagram lifestyle<\/strong> that all of us long for.<\/p>\n<p>The inspiration fort he silluetes lie behind the fashion of the dandies in the 19th century with their imaculatley <strong>tailored suits<\/strong> and\u00a0 expensive looking clothing which gave the illusion of them being of a higher social status, although they were in fact only of the bourgeois status.<\/p>\n<p>The details of big collars and coat details were taken from the dandy clothing while for some added surprise elements of nude skin on ferishised parts of the male body. The back is exposed on the suits and coats while on pants theres glimpses of the buttocks and the v line muscles on the abdomen and an open sleeve so we can see the mans armpit.
