in the Mitnica pavilion, Sne\u017eni\u0161ka ulica 5, Ljubljana.<\/strong><\/p>\n

A few words about horrorskope<\/strong><\/p>\n

Once upon a time, behind the nine planets, chiv chiv blah blah…
\nHorrorskope is a kind of continuation of my Chernobyl and Atomic phase.
\nBecause I had a lot of unused casts of pipes, heads and other sculptural elements left over, and because it sometimes happens that man is idle, such and such ideas are born, and because idleness is the mother of imagination, I said to myself that I could make zodiac signs out of a head and a pipe. So then I cut, sawed, glued, added, supplemented, from the same casts… It’s true that it did not always work without the additional elements to create some signs, but, as I said, I intended to use only two elements.
\nWell, that’s how the zodiac signs were created; and since I like to play with words and the signs are a bit of a “(Hieronymus) Bosch” nature, I decided to call them “HORRORSCOPE”.
\nIn short, about the hororscope.
\nFor longer, another time.<\/p>\n

Strange biography of Rok Mohar<\/strong><\/p>\n

Rok Mohar (Ljubljana, 1979) enrolled at the Famul Stuart School of Applied Arts in the Department of Sculpture after graduating from the High School of Printing and Paper. In 2006 he was given a studio at AKC Metelkova mesto in Ljubljana, where he still works today. His artistic career was marked by friendship with academic artist Mark A. Kova\u010di\u010d. Together they portrayed comic heroes by Marko Kociper, David Kran\u010dan and Manuel Fior, among others. He participated in group and solo exhibitions and created and worked in various fields. He created sets and backdrops for theatre and film (Zang Tumb Tuuum, So in Vr\u0161ac…), collaborated with the Restoration Centre ZVKDS (Department of Stone and Stucco) and participated in various sculpture symposiums and festivals. He studied stone sculpture at Kornarija Sculpture Workshops in Maru\u0161i\u0107i, Croatia, with his mentor, academic sculptor Gail Morris.
\nIn 2019, with the help of the KUD Ampus association, he set up a graphic studio at the Neuhausen Manor in Tr\u017ei\u010d. He lives and creates his strange life in Ljubljana and Tr\u017ei\u010d.<\/p>\n
