Jelena Vasiljevi\u0107 on the biennial <strong>European Meeting on Fire Retardant Polymeric Materials (FRPM19) <\/strong>held in Turku, Finland in May 2019 was published in the <strong>pinfa Newsletter n\u00b0 105 special issue, October 2019<\/strong>. Within the presented keynote lecture,  doc.dr. Jelena Vasiljevi\u0107 presented the latest achievements from her postdoc research project <strong>\u201cDevelopment of new sustainable flame retardant polyamide fibres\u201d<\/strong> funded by the Slovenian Research Agency. <\/p>\n<p>Additionally, in this pinfa Newsletter, you can also read about the winning of the 1st prize award in the Best Poster Prize at the FRPM19 by Marija \u010colovi\u0107, Jelena Vasiljevi\u0107, Barbara Simon\u010di\u010d, Ivan Jerman, Andrej Dem\u0161ar for the research entitled <strong>&#8220;Novel flame retardant polyamide 6 copolymer for the melt-spinning of textile filaments&#8221;<\/strong>. This award highlits the fruitful collaboration between Faculty of Natural Sciences and Engineering, University of Ljubljana and National Institute of Chemistry.<\/p>\n<p>The pinfa Newsletter publishes the latest on fire safety, pin flame retardants, new developments, new applications, regulations, and health and environment in Europe and worldwide.
