The study mentor requires the student to pass the obligatory industrial placement in the area or areas that they teach in the context of their subjects and habilitation. The content of the industrial placement must be coordinated between the institution offering the training and the professional mentor employed at this institution. If the study mentor judges it necessary in order to achieve teaching and professional goals, he or she may consider the opinion of the student.
