Tunnel construction and risk assessment

Mastering complex principles and general criteria for the design and construction of tunnels, analysis of specific conditions for planning roads, railways and other connecting systems in tunnels, the analysis of methods for determining the prescribed transverse and longitudinal profiles and the monitoring of individual technological processes for constructing tunnels in different geotechnical conditions, an analytical evaluation of the planning processes for the excavation and installation of support elements, an overview and detailed analysis of the classical methods of construction, taking into account the latest developments in the field of construction technologies using newer materials for the execution of the support elements, analysis of tunnel construction by cutting the entire cross-section, the construction of tunnels in special construction conditions with restrictive circumstances (displacements, the level of groundwater, etc.), performing risk analyses for the various phases of tunnel construction.
