Learning about technical design and visual aesthetic parameters in creating various products in the field of visual communication, advertising and presentations in the public arena; practical execution of such projects; analysis of the entire procedure and the final result.
Familiarisation with basic data structures and digital data transfers; learning about Information and Communication Systems (ICS) and computer networks; learning about interdisciplinary field of user interfaces, the approaches in the planning, developing and evaluating individual steps in user interfaces planning.
Learning about various types of printing plates for various printing techniques; conventional and digital platemaking systems; technology of computer to plate and computer to press (direct imaging) systems; chemical reactions and physical-chemical changes in individual stages of platemaking.
Learning about the role of sales and transport packaging; raw materials for the production of packaging materials; basics of production technologies of packaging materials and products; types of packaging products; characteristics and use of packaging: paper, board, polymers, glass, metal, wood, complex; design of board packaging.
Human-computer interaction; user interface, web usability and user experience; web site design and development; Web 2.0 and 3.0; mobile technologies and communications; interactivity of printed media; automatic identification technologies; barcodes and 2D codes; radio-frequency identification; printed electronics; virtual and augmented reality.
The student achieves knowledge of: planning phases of digital content; narration of motion images; fundamentals of planning, design and production of moving pictures; technical and design basis of character development and its involvement in the story; fundamentals of recording and composition; editing and transitions; fundamentals of postproduction and digital compositing.
In-depth learning about flexography, screen printing, pad printing, electrophotography, inkjet printing and magnetography; interaction of printing with prepress and print finishing; basics of functional printing (printed electronics, photovoltaic, batteries); basics of 3D printing.
