New conditions for transitions between programmes will come into force in the academic year 2022/23
Transition is possible between the study programmes:

that guarantee the acquisition of comparable competences or learning outcomes at the end of the studies;

among which, in line with the criteria for acknowledging the knowledge and skills acquired before enrolling into the first-level higher education study programme Graphic and Media Technology, at least half of the obligations according to the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS) can be acknowledged from the first study programme, which relate to compulsory subjects of the first-level higher education study programme Graphic and Media Technology.
An individual exam passed in the original study programme is acknowledged as passed in the first-level higher education study programme Graphic and Media Technology if the contents of both courses are at least 75% compatible. The acknowledged exam is evaluated with credit points in the original study programme, not exceeding the earmarked credit points in the first-level higher education study programme Graphic and Media Technology.
A candidate can enrol into the 2nd or 3rd year of the first-level higher education study programme Graphic and Media Technology with transfer if:

they meet the conditions for enrolment into the study programme,
-
there are vacancies.
The Study Committee of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Engineering determines for each candidate separately the extent to which it acknowledges the already completed study obligations, determines other obligations and decides which year the candidate can transfer to.
Transfer between programmes will be possible within the first level programmes of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Engineering and other faculties in accordance with the Higher Education Act and the criteria for transfer between study programmes and other related regulations. Students who enrolled before the introduction of new study programmes, and who have the right to repeat classes but cannot do so according to the programme in which they have enrolled because of the gradual introduction of new study programmes, can join the new programme with equal status to the students in that programme.
Transfer between higher education professional programmes of the first level+
Students in higher education professional study programmes at the Textile Department of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Engineering or related higher education professional programmes of the first level (Computer sciences and informatics and programmes within the IARIGAI network) will receive a list of the requirements they must fulfil in order to graduate in the new programme.
Transfer between university study programmes and higher education professional study programmes of the first level+
Students in university study programmes at the Textile department of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Engineering and related university study programmes of the first level (Computer Sciences and communication, Media communication and programmes within the IARIGAI network) will receive a list of the requirements they must fulfil in order to graduate in the new programme.
Transfer between higher education professional programmes of the first level and two-year higher education study programmes approved before 1994 +
Graduates from two-year higher education study programmes who enrolled before 1994 in related fields of study (Computer science, Informatics or Media) and who have 3 years of appropriate work experience can enrol in the 3rd year. Graduates from other professional fields can transfer to the 3rd year if they have 5 years of work experience; during the study, they must pass 8 differential exams (Introduction to graphic media, Printing 1, Colour metrics, Typographic elements, Graphic materials, Standardisation of graphic processes).
Transfer between higher education professional programmes of the first level and two-year study programmes according to the Vocational and Technical Education Act: +
Transfer to the second year of the higher education professional programmes of the first level shall be possible for graduates of two-year study programmes (Vocational and Technical Education Act) from related fields of study (the areas of Computer science, Informatics or Media) if they fulfil the conditions for enrolment in a higher education professional programme of the first level. The differential exams that they will have to pass before enrolment in the 3rd year will be determined for them.
