In the last week of October, the Faculty of Science and Technology (NTF) will be visited by experts in the fields of graphic prepress, standardisation of PDF documents, printing and packaging as part of the regular annual meeting of the international association Ghent Workgroup.
As part of this meeting, an event will be organised on 25 October 2022 (10:30 am, in P-104), which will include two guest lectures and a round table. The lectures will be given by David L. Zwang and Christian Blaise and will relate to the following topics:
- Zwang L. D. – »Introduction to GWG and look at the state of the industry – trends, data, etc., where we are and where we are going, including Industry 4.0 and 5.0.«
- Blaise C. – »Bringing different systems together – The reality of bringing all these different processes together.«
Following the lectures, there will be a round table with the speakers and invited guests (12:30 pm, in P-104) entitled »The Future of the Graphic Profession«.
The lectures will be held in English and are compulsory for 1st and 2nd year GIKM students, all others are of course welcome to attend.
