The Faculty of Natural Sciences and Engineering from the University of Ljubljana has represented together with other design faculties and academies from Europe and China within Campus area on the fair Heimtextil that was held in Frankfurt from 9th to 13th January 2017. Presentation of selected students’ projects and degree works has been curated by Mrs. Cora Francis, a director of the French textile company Mitwill.
The students from Ljubljana Ana Vičič, Katarina Rus, Nuša Perkič, Petra Šink, Špela Zelko, Valerija Intihar, Karmen Kočevar, Katarina Farič, Eva Bizjak, Anita Bizjak, Cilka Sadar, Mateja Zajc, Kaja Julija Hrovat, Živa Červek and Tadeja Zorger guided by their mentors Arijana Gadžijev, Jana Mršnik and Marija Jenko have represented a project with a meaningful title “I wore this chair last winter” with a sustainable connotation.
Ana Vičič and Katarina Rus sent their works on the international design competition Young Creation Award: Upcycling and were selected into a final group of designers that were exhibited on the fair Heimtextil.
