On the 9th October 2020 collections of NTF – Department of Textiles, Graphic Arts and Design students were showcased at Podhod Ajdovščina Ljubljana within the framework of LJFW 4/4
MATIC BIZJAK, ELA MEJAČ and EMA URŠIČ
Matic Bizjak and his collection ‘Football of ballerina’ presents the research and development of tailoring a menswear ‘ready-to-wear’ collection of clothes and fashion accessories. The collection is inspired by ballet and football that Matic and his brother have been pursuing since their childhood and have heavily influenced their lives.
Ela Mejač and Ema Uršič have created a collection titled ‘Fusion’, which emphasizes the importance of local cooperation and sustainability. The womenswear collection is made of residue fabric, interlacing shirt, tracksuit and swimwear. The menswear collection is created by upcycling second hand clothing. Ela and Ema drew inspiration for their designs from the Sixties and its distinctive fashion.
