On Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at 4.30 p.m. the students of the master’s study programme of NTF, Textile and Fashion Design presented their master’s theses at Fashion Week within the common title FUTURE NOW // PRIHODNOST ZDAJ. This year’s seven membered jury awarded four collections with equivalent prizes.
The award I feel Slovenia received master’s programme student OTO Maja Leskovšek. Government Communication Office which is the administrator of the national brand I feel Slovenia, in cooperation with the organizers LJFW introduced uniforms for the personnel of the Slovenian pavilion at the world exhibition EXPO Milano 2015. The jury, in which also participated mag. Nataša Bušljeta, head of the department of promotion and communication projects in the Office of Communications, decided that designer Maja Leskovšek will showcase her collection at the Milan Expo 2015 exhibition.
The prize by the company T-2 received OTO master’s student Neja Kaligaro. The designer will make costumes for next season’s TV broadcast TOP 4 with Tjaša Kokalj. In the evaluation committee also took part the presenter of the broadcast Tjaša Kokalj and Igor Arih, creative director of the Arih agency, which will be responsible for the promotion and presentation of the designer Neja Kaligaro.
Also a OTO master’s student Sara Valenci received the prize awarded by the magazine Elle Slovenia. The expert committee in which also participated fashion editor of Elle Slovenija magazine Petra Windschurer, the designer Sari Valenci granted self-representation and promotion of the collection in the magazine Elle Slovenia.
Janja Videc OTO master’s degree study programme student, will have an opportunity to showcase her collection at the next Ljubljana Fashion Week presenting herself as an independent designer, as an expert commission, including the #LJFW organizer awarded her with the prize.
