Focusing on the student’s competencies and skills and developing desired competencies through holistic, critical, and transdisciplinary thinking. The basic goal of the course is to develop an independent, open-minded, holistic and aware person whose highest mission is to work for the good of the humanity.
The student will be encouraged in:
- holistic, transdisciplinary and critical thinking about systems, their interrelationships and the consequences of their activity;
- connecting of natural and technological knowledge with social sciences and humanities;
- holistic rhetoric;
- creating new models, solutions and visions through critical consideration and a holistic approach;
- thinking about present reality with a view on yesterday, today and about tomorrow.
In the frame of the course the expanding of the student’s view on the environment and society and complexity of their connection is anticipated. Holistic, transdisciplinary and critical thinking enables more complex insight into relationships between natural sciences, technology, environment and society which enable students to make more responsible and sustainable decisions.
