Helena Gabrijelčič Tomc

I am an associate professor at Department of Textiles, Graphic Arts and Design (Faculty of Natural Sciences and Engineering, University of Ljubljana). My research work involves: 1. a development of constructional and color-mixing models based on physical products and computer generated simulations; 2. generating, processing and reproduction of data in media (shape, pattern, color) and three-dimensional computer graphic and visualizations. In collaboration with the students, I am researching also the novelties of learning approaches for web site planning, development and testing and implementation of 2D and 3D computer graphic in creative processes of studying.

I am a lecturer of the courses on:

  • 1st level university and higher-education studies (Graphic and Interactive Communication and Graphic and Media Technology): Programming Interactive Tools, Graphic Prepress 2 and The basis of 3D modelling
  • 2nd master level study (Graphic and Interactive Communication): Advance 3D Computer Graphic and Visualisations.

The subjects Programming Interactive Tools and Advance 3D Computer Graphic are in winter semester. The subjects Graphic Prepress 2 and The basis of 3D modelling are in summer semester.
