Department of Geology has again renewed the license agreement with Petroleum Experts Ltd. Under the terms of this agreement, Petroleum Experts will continue to donate to the Department 10 yearly licenses for the complete MOVE software suite in the value of 1,872,218.26 GBP (about 2.2 million EUR).
MOVE software suite (http://www.petex.com/products/move-suite/), which includes 11 modules, is widely regarded as the most complete toolbox for structural analysis, interpretation and modeling. The Department will receive the latest MOVE 2022.1 version which will, among the other, be used in teaching in the Master-level course Digital mapping.
