The Department of Geology has recently extended the licensing agreement with Petroleum Experts, Ltd. According to this agreement, Petroleum Experts donated 10 licenses for the full MOVE suite at a total value of £1,872,218.26 (about 2.1 million Euro).
MOVE software suite (http://www.petex.com/products/move-suite/), which includes 12 modules, is widely regarded as the most complete toolbox for structural analysis, interpretation and modeling. The latest version of the package MOVE 2024.1 that was donated to the Department was released in February. We are very grateful to the Petroleum Experts company for continuously supporting our research and teaching.
