– Introduction to the basics of fashion and textile management. – Introduction to the basics of textile and clothing marketing. – Introduction to the basics of fashion communication and advertising. – Introduction to the processes and terminology of contemporary fashion and the textile environment (fashion weeks, trade shows and trends). – Contemporary fashion and textile design practises and key players (focused case studies). – Introduction to various fields and career opportunities in fashion and textile design. – Individual project work that facilitates the linking of previously acquired knowledge and the development of new knowledge, with an emphasis on brands.
