Basics of 3D animation and simulation

The student acquires knowledge about: pipeline and production phases of animations; basic animation techniques; basic operations (shift, rotation, scaling); animation with transformers; movement along the path, control and constraints of movement; morphing and 3D interpolation of shapes; animating textures, lights and cameras; basics of character animation (hierarchy, controls, bones, skin); basics of animation of technical objects, particle systems, flocks and autonomous agents; basics of simulating dynamic objects (fur and hair, textiles, collisions, soft and solid bodies) and natural phenomena (liquids, gases, fire, plants).
