Learn key concepts and major topics in computer modelling through which materials scientists and metallurgists study and apply these methods on atomistic, microscopic and mesoscopic spatial scales to understand and predict phenomena and properties of materials.
Students will get familiar with computational methods and will learn of their strengths and limitations. They will gain the ability to apply fundamental knowledge on materials modelling via computer simulations.
