(adopted before 11 June 2004) and from university first-cycle programmes (adopted after 11 June 2004)
The Materials Engineering programme is open to students from other comparable university programmes. Applications should be made in writing with certification of previous study results, provided that other general admission requirements are met. The candidate may progress to the subsequent year provided that they meet the progression requirements for that particular year and complete all exams specific to this programme. Transfers are approved by the Senate of the Faculty of Natural sciences and Engineering or another appointed body.

Transfers from higher professional study programmes +

(adopted before 11 June 2004) and from other higher professional first-cycle study programmes (adopted after 11 June 2004). Students of a higher professional programme in Metallurgical Technology, who meet the enrolment conditions for the first-cycle university programme, can transfer to the university first-cycle programme upon submitting certification. The appointed body of the faculty will determine which bridging exams need to be completed to progress to the new programme. In case of transfers from higher professional programmes, the candidate needs to meet other admission criteria for the university programme in Materials Engineering.

adopted before 1994. Graduates from a higher educational programme in Metallurgical Technology adopted before 1994 with three years of working experience can be admitted to the third year of studies. The appointed body of the faculty will determine which bridging exams need to be completed before enrolment. This also applies to students who have completed any four-year secondary school programme. Applications for transfers are approved by the Senate of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Engineering or another appointed body.
