Students acquire knowledge about basic economic problems and ways of solving them. The theory of production and cost, the operation of the market mechanism and the theory of distributions are presented in detail. Students acquire knowledge about the basic analytical and categorical mechanism required for this and subsequent economic courses. The course provides the institutional framework and presents organisational and ownership forms of enterprises and the environment in which businesses operate and which is influenced by state regulations.
