Failure analysis

Goals: acquiring basic engineering methods for identification and analysis of damage and flaws; typical flaws and damage on various products, structures, equipment, machines and tools; understanding standards and regulations; Ability to prepare an expertise and expert opinion. Students upgrade their knowledge through the use of testing methods, models and simulations to prepare a project that is a professional opinion on a particular engineering problem.
