Goals: acquiring theoretical bases of testing methods, ability to carry out major mechanical, technological and non-destructive testing methods on laboratory and industrial scale. Destructive methods include: tensile, compressive, shear and bending tests, permanent static test, permanent dynamic test, impact indentation test and tensile test; non-destructive methods: ultrasound, radiographic testing methods, electrical and magnetic methods, etc. Students reinforce knowledge through practical exercises and use statistical methods for evaluating accuracy of measurements and valuation of tests.
