Goals: acquiring basic concepts in multivariable function analysis and partial differential equations. Through exercises, students practise skills in derivation and integration of functions with two or three variables and solve partial differential equations with practical applications. All concepts and methods are illustrated by examples from the professional field. Teaching methods are supported by modern technology, i.e. computers and suitable software.
