Modern construction technologies and numerical modelling of underground structures

Goals: ability to solve tasks independently in the field of geomechanics and underground construction using numerical models for designing and analysing such structures; applying special knowledge of engineering geology and hydrogeology in setting up geometrical parameters of underground structures, taking into account specific characteristics of rock and soil layers and to adequately predict modern technological design of underground structures. Acquiring knowledge to understand the complexity of underground structures and mastering measuring rock displacement methods, geological technical evaluation of observed and measured parameters of structural, mechanical and chemical properties of soils and rocks and ability of engineering interpretation.
