Goals: understanding physical laws and applying the laws in solving technical problems, which includes laboratory tests. Specific competences: ability to evaluate physical and technical problems on the basis of theoretical analysis and experimental work; ability to understand natural phenomena; ability to perform research and solve technical and technological problems; develop critical thinking. Topics include: mechanics, heat, electricity and magnetism. The course is fundamental for acquiring competences in materials development and properties of materials.
