Practicals in computer science

Goals: acquiring knowledge about computers and learning programming techniques to be able to solve simple problems through the use of computers. Course-specific competences include: using Linux and Windows operational systems and MS-Office. Fundamentals of computer programming using C language and fundamentals of object-oriented programming languages. Solving problems by using algorithms. During the course, students perform twelve practical computer exercises and prepare a seminar project. Practicals provide knowledge and skills that support other courses throughout the course of studies.
