Goals: students are able to differentiate key factors in manufacturing a metallurgical product. This involves: market needs, combining knowledge with new information to propose possible solutions, promotion and development of new ideas, elaborating ideas based on theoretical and practical professional knowledge; considering aspects of: technological, environmental and economic risks; development of a process for manufacturing a product; defining process parameters and equipment and preparing an economic and investments scheme; intellectual property rights.
