Metallurgy of steel and metals

Goals: to prepare student for independent development of new basic innovative stages of processes to be able to transfer research results into applications and their commercialisation. PhD study is intended to stimulate new knowledge, therefore the objective of the course is to stimulate learning and to deepen the knowledge based on research and development and to look for new solutions in specific areas of steels and non-ferrous metals. Students will upgrade theoretical knowledge on steelmaking and making metallic alloys in order to develop new basic knowledge and also new metallic materials throughout their life cycle to their final degradation
