Goals: understanding particular casting techniques: cold chamber and hot chamber die casting, low-pressure casting, precision casting and thixo casting. Students understand the laws of flow in the elements of pouring and feeding system in filling in hollows under pressure and learn the basic foundry alloys for the aforementioned techniques.
