Goals: acquiring basic concepts about heat and temperature, fuels, combustion and mechanisms of heat transfer in nature and engineering. Students acquire skills for analysing heat engineering phenomena and heat transfer as well as skills for teamwork and use of professional literature and electronic information sources.
