The following topics will be discussed: thermodynamics of pure substances, thermodynamics of solutions, free energy and phase diagrams of binary systems, thermodynamics of surfaces and small systems, heterophase and homophase fluctuations, thermodynamics of defects, diffusion, kinetics of nucleation and growth and morphological instability.
