Thermodynamics of metallurgical processes

The goal is to understand the laws of thermodynamics necessary for materials engineers to understand physico-chemical processes occurring in materials during manufacturing processes. Students acquire knowledge about the laws on thermodynamics, thermodynamics in liquid and solid solutions, chemical and phase equilibria in materials, fundamentals of kinetics and electrochemistry. Theory is combined with numerous practical examples with calculations.
