I am a full-time professor at the Chair of Textile and Clothing Design, Department of Textiles, Graphic Arts and Design, Faculty of Natural Sciences and Engineering, University of Ljubljana.
In 1986, I graduated from the Faculty of Architecture in Ljubljana. After graduating in architecture, I studied scenography and costume design at the Akademie für angewandte Kunst in Vienna in 1989/90, where I lived and worked until 1997.
I have designed sets and costumes for more than 50 theater and opera performances and 1 film in Slovenia, Austria, Italy and Switzerland. I have also designed many outdoor scenographies – New Year’s decorations and lighting of Slovenian cities and lighting of individual architectural heritage buildings.
My main areas of work are scenography, costume design, exterior lighting design and interior design.
