The aim of the course is to acquaint the student with the instrumental methods (PDA, DAT) that allow objective evaluation of material-print interaction. Knowledge of interactions is very important for achieving high repeatability and high-quality of print. The course is oriented towards knowledge and understanding of interactions between the surface of print materials, coatings, printing inks, glues, varnishes and other liquid materials. Presentation and purpose of using different methods from other research areas (SEM, CLSM, AFM and others) are included for better understanding of complex problems in graphic applications.
