The course covers contemporary approaches to product development in fashion, textile, and graphic design. Students learn about advanced technologies, particularly 3D and 4D printing, a range of materials, and their potential applications in prototyping and product development. Special emphasis is placed on exploring visual, optical, and tactile effects through surface texturing technologies and experimental material processing, such as 3D printing on textiles, laser engraving, and coating applications. The focus is on the relationship between aesthetics, functionality, and sustainability, aiming to develop contemporary design solutions and to combine digital and manual processes synergistically to create innovative, sustainable products.
