The 4. International Conference on Natural fibres – ICNF 2019 – SMART SUSTAINABLE SOLUTIONS,
was held in Porto (Portugal) on July 1.−3. 2019. The conference was attended by more than 200 researchers from all over the world. Two participants from the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Engineering presented their work: doc. dr. Marija Gorjanc with a lecture entitled »Dyeing cotton with dye extracted from Fallopia Japonica leaves« and Anja Verbič with a poster »Avocado fruit extract and zinc for UV protective cotton«.
