Virtual exhibition “Metamorphosis”

The term “metamorphosis” comes from the Greek and means “change of form”. The term refers to a biological process in which rapid, extensive changes occur in the physique of animals. Students of bachelor’s degree programmes in textiles (Textile and Clothing Engineering and Textile and Clothing Planning) under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Marija Gorjanc and Assit. Prof. Dr. Mateja Kert, produced textile products on which they printed their designs illustrating visual or pictorial metamorphosis. Depending on how the textile product is worn, we can perceive the appearance or meaning of the motif quite differently.
