From 24th-25th January 2018 we visited 7th Future Fabrics Expo, in London. At the Expo companies that follow the sustainability principles in textile and leather industry were presented. Among more than 4000 materials, we could explore chrome-free tanned leather, fish and jellyfish leather, artificial leather made from apple skin and wine industry waste, cellulose fibers made from orange skins, oystre shell fibers, recycled PET from ocean plastics, textiles dyed with natural dyes, textiles treated with plant-based finishes and plasma-treated textiles.
