T-S-5 (general) Colour models and colour transforms

The fundamental aim of course is to obtain in-depth knowledge of mathematical models (matrix, CLUT) and methods for colour transforms between different colour spaces used in the field of cross media publishing. The student will be able to apply his/her knowledge in the field of capturing (input devices), displaying (monitor) and colour reproduction (output devices) for different viewing and surround conditions. He/she will also be able to take into account changes due to change in printing materials, inks and printing techniques. Exact course will take into consideration student interests. Another goal is also obtaining knowledge of the colour transform corrections from device space to CIELAB and CIEXYZ.
