The recognition for our research from the scientific committee of the flame retardant polymeric materials

The summary of the keynote lecture presented by doc.dr. Jelena Vasiljević on the biennial European Meeting on Fire Retardant Polymeric Materials (FRPM19) held in Turku, Finland in May 2019 was published in the pinfa Newsletter n° 105 special issue, October 2019. Within the presented keynote lecture, doc.dr. Jelena Vasiljević presented the latest achievements from her postdoc research project “Development of new sustainable flame retardant polyamide fibres” funded by the Slovenian Research Agency.

Additionally, in this pinfa Newsletter, you can also read about the winning of the 1st prize award in the Best Poster Prize at the FRPM19 by Marija Čolović, Jelena Vasiljević, Barbara Simončič, Ivan Jerman, Andrej Demšar for the research entitled “Novel flame retardant polyamide 6 copolymer for the melt-spinning of textile filaments”. This award highlits the fruitful collaboration between Faculty of Natural Sciences and Engineering, University of Ljubljana and National Institute of Chemistry.
