How to choose the courses for the study programme for the Erasmus+ Mobility Learning Agreement?+
Our faculty is unique because we have 6 different areas of study that are very different and independent.
Each study programme (mentioned above) has its own curriculum from which the incoming Erasmus+ student can choose the lectures for their Study Programme for the Learning Agreement.
Erasmus Inter-Institutional Agreements (IIA) are defined by the subject area code ISCED and are signed with departments/chairs (e.g. Materials and Metallurgy ISCED code is 07, 071). Therefore, incoming students can only enrol in the study programme program of the department/chair (subject area code ISCED) with which their faculty/institution has signed an IIA. Erasmus students who wish to enrol in the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Engineering can choose 30 ECTS in two options:
- courses with a total of 30 ECTS from ONE of the six study programme of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Engineering (e.g. Materials and Metallurgy)
or
- courses with a total of 20 ECTS from one of the study programme of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Engineering (e.g. Materials and Metallurgy) and
- courses with a total of 10 ECTS of another study programme from our faculty (e.g. Geology) or courses with a total of 10 ECTS from another faculty (e.g. Faculty of Arts).*
After the Erasmus+ incoming student has selected courses, the department coordinator must approve the selected Study Programme in the Learning Agreement. Once approved, the Learning Agreement is signed and stamped by the Faculty Coordinator.
* You must contact the faculty coordinator of another faculty to confirm the selected courses at another faculty!
