Posredujemo vam obvestilo o izvedbi delavnic za razpise ERC v 2022. Prijava je dostopna preko naslednje povezave: registration form.

Dear StG and CoG ERC applicants,

We are ready to start with a new series of the ERC workshops on November 11. All workshops will be held in English.  Please check the timetable and register for each workshop via this registration form before November 7. Note that the registration is possible only for employees of the University of Ljubljana and with your university email account.  In case of too many applications we will restrict the participation only to candidates who will submit the projects in 2022.

*You will be informed about the venue of the workshops in the beginning of next week.

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:

Before starting the application and writing process, please consult in particular the following documents:

• ERC Work Programme 2022
• Information for Applicantsto the Staring and Consolidator Grant Call, including the detailed panel expertise keywords (the Instructions will be updates with the publication of the call)
•  PANELS 2021 in 2022: We recommend to use the lists of previous panel members to understand the different backgrounds and perspectives from which panel members may view your proposal. The panel members are only active every second year, and you are applying to the ERC Wp 2022. Therefore, you can see the panel members for your specific panel in 2018 and 2020 (can be found on ERC homepage). Most likely more than half of the panel members in 2022 will also be active panel members for your application. 3-5 of them will be the main evaluators of your application in stage 1. You can also find a more in-depth analysis of previous panel members here (just select X ERC scheme and the specific panel you are interested in).
• Funded projects: Choose “X Grant” in “Funding Scheme” and thereafter click the box for your review panel in the “Research Domain”. Then you can see a summary of all the X ERC Grant projects funded by your panel.
• Standard StG Application Form& Standard CoG Application Form: (A-Form, B1 and B2 template). Please note that there is a structural change also in this call. The previous section c) resources of part B2 has been transferred to the online submission form (section 3, max 8.000 characters), but counts towards the 15 pages limit for B2 (excluding the online budget table). So do not talk about the resources in B2.

During the workshops you will also receive the following templates and guidelines:

• The budget templatefor your information and internal calculations only. Please read the comments and check the standard salary costs. We advice you to use the version 2 for all researchers employed in the ERC project. Please also charge the project budget with at least 50% of admin personnel (project manager). For the official budget please use the online budget table.
• Yellow Research BinderHow to write the ERC Adv G (same for all schemes)
• Suggestions for B1 and B2
• ERC CV, FUNDING ID and Track Record Template with tips – If you want to receive preliminary general (not peer) review/comments, please send these templates back to erc@uni-lj.siby Nov 15.

Please also note that you will have to:

• Complete online the ethical AND security issues tableand upload the ethical self-assessment if any issue in the ethical issues table applies (no template). Please read carefully the instructions: https://erc.europa.eu/sites/default/files/document/file/EthicsSelfAssessmentStepByStep.pdf (same for 2022)
• Document all written consentby all proposal participants/collaborators, e.g. by an email dated before the call deadline, but not submit it with the application (online form, section “Declarations” )

New features that we will discuss. Consider:

• Track Record: preprintsmay be included, if freely available from a preprint server
• Mandatory Funding IDannex to indicate ongoing, submitted and previous grants
• Open Access is mandatory, related costs can be charged to the project
• Security Issue Table is mandatory
• Data Management Plan is mandatory in the first 6m of the project
• ERC beneficiaries will automatically be covered by the H2020 provisions on research data sharingunless they specifically decide to opt-out; related costs can be charged to the project

For the submission you need to register via the F&T Portal.
